In my install I do not have the folders which are described in the wiki. The wiki was not up-to-date at that point. I have updated the entry. Hey, Nice setup! Good point with the model. I still have a revision 1 model B, which came with MB. I will also upload an updated image soon, which will contain the recent improvements of the RetroPie script. I am just thinking of that to make it less confusing for people. What do you think about that? As far as the rest of the image I havent touched anything. Since it is presumably the default, this explicit setting by the RetroPie Setup could be discarded, I would say!? Thanks for the short summary of your steps for generating your installation!
I will add the exact steps for generating the SD card image offered here to this post in some days. Image of the case of this morning, now making some polyplastic casing to cover all the wires.. I was hoping that I would have better luck with your disk image.
Is there a specific file I can edit or something I can run to set up this controller? The Atari games run great, the genesis games crash on the first splash screen. Perhaps I should upgrade from my pi to a ?? Are thr games unzipped before you put them in the romfolders? If someone feels that there is some information missing feel free to add that! When I run a rom in the psx emulator and use save states, the game freezes, the pi crashes, I have to restart … to then be told that the filesystem on my SDHC card has become corrupted.
Sorry to hear that! I have never used the save state function of RetroArch with any core. It would be interesting to hear the experience with the save state functions of the emulator cores from all of you here!

This will get the systems and games to show up whenever you add games for that system. Also for console systems like NES make sure your roms are not zipped or. They should end in. Your MAME roms are fine to be zipped.
Once you put at least one game in a folder, that system will show up on boot. Also delete any contents that was in system folders by default that you do not want for example msdos and it will be removed from the main menu. So FTP in again and go to. You can use CyberDuck for Mac. Just do the basic installation. I would do the Commander view when it asks you for that in the installation.
Now you are ready to transfer or upload game files to the raspberry pi. On the right is your raspberry pi setup. You will see the available systems. Other frontends are fine with zip files, but they will not be recognized in emulation station. If you want to unzip all in 1 action. Ctrl A to select all of them and right click. All will extract in one folder. Select that folder on the left side of WinSCP and press upload making sure you are in the nes folder in this example to transfer the games.
Retropie has a built in scraper, but one has been developed by ssleph that works faster and more accurately. I have downloaded the retropie program onto my pc so i can transfer it on to a sd card and plug it into my raspberry pi but when I extract it, it just says "The disk image file is corrupted" can anyone help me get around this problem??
I don't understand what you mean. IMG extension. Extract the. IMG file. You don't need to open the. IMG file win with rar or any archive application. When did you get that error message? You always can try to re-download the file and see how that works out. Or you can download it via a torrent me and some other members are seeding here.
